The journey & battle - DAY 11

Howdy, I want to thank all those that took a moment to read the last post. I am now on day 11 of my 84 day journey to lose weight and be healthy. Linda wanted me to let you know what my bad health journey has looked like. The past few years I have weighed over 400 lbs, my back and knees constantly hurt and daily things that most take for granite like to tie shoes, button your pants up and walking in the park were and still are a daily battle. I get lots of boils and skin problems and rashes from my extra fluff. I knew it was time to take back my life these past few years and thanks to our jobs at comcast that we finally got the chance to get help. I am now on Day 11 and day 3 out of 5 on a Detox in which I only drink distilled water and 64 oz of Lemonade freshly squeezed and pure maple syrup for 5 days and no food.   Well day 3 is today and Comcast took us out to Carvers Restaurant for doing a great job at work. Hello web people! This blog is all about my journey to get healthy in 2017, but first I must let you know why my name is Pickle. My last name is Pilkington and I served a LDS mission in 1995-1997 some would say a very long time ago. I am now 40 and will be turning 41 in May. My health has gone from bad to downright dangerous. I currently weigh 420 lbs. and I am proud to say that through this new lifestyle I am about to document that I have lost 12 lbs. Back to the nickname of "Pickle" - I served my mission on the Navajo Reservation for the most part and it was amazing. Since we go by Elder Pilkington, the locals started calling me Elder Pickle. Before I knew it everybody was calling me Elder Pickle. When I got home I kept the nickname to this day. So now to the health journey, I recently got hired at Comcast Universal and I work in the Payment services department. I basically ask for money all day long.
